Individual therapy is client-centred, meaning that each individual is treated according to their needs, perceptions and thinking style. A safe therapeutic environment is created so that people can learn new skills, mend hurts (old and new) and essentially experience different aspects of themselves.

Sometimes during therapy we can discover there are aspects of ourselves which are contradictory. Unconscious beliefs often surface during therapy in the form of thoughts, feelings or behaviours. As these beliefs or blockages begin to transform, painful feelings may emerge. It can feel like the process is getting worse, when in fact it is the beginning of change.
